What would you
like to build?
Let’s turn the idea in your head into a practical starting point.
Guided planning · No live market researchYour answers shape the plan. Add evidence before treating an assumption as fact.
Make the idea
easy to understand.
Edit your starting points and review the outline below.
Good questions.
Stronger decisions.
Collect evidence for your idea. Nothing here is a verified market finding until you add and review a source.
Include direct competitors, spreadsheets, agencies and doing nothing. A problem can have several kinds of solution.
What have you learned?
Keep the claim, observation and source together. Include findings that challenge your idea.
Evidence checklist
Mark a task complete only after you have done it.
Reach the right people.
Learn what works.
Explore what it costs to win and serve a customer. Then choose an experiment to test your assumptions.
Could the numbers work?
Include the cost of delivery.
How the calculation works
Revenue = visitors × lead rate × customer rate × first-month value. Costs = acquisition spend + fixed costs + (new customers × variable cost). Break-even customers = (acquisition spend + fixed costs) ÷ (value − variable cost), rounded up, holding monthly spend constant.
These are editable example assumptions, not measured results. This model covers one month of new customers only. Include labour, tools and support in your costs. It excludes existing subscribers, churn, refunds, tax and any costs you omit; it is not net profit or a forecast.
One focused experiment.
Choose a channel that reaches your specific customer. Run a small test before increasing spend.
Start focused.
Build with purpose.
A staged outline to discuss with your team. The scope and schedule need review before development begins.
